Hello coders,

The task is to update tables in a DB with data read from CSV.

I have a few scripts which create CSV files.
Those CSV files should then be read and inserted into a mysql DB.

If the relevant table (correlating to a CSV file)does not exist : create it.
If the relevant entry does not exist – create it.
If the relevant entry does exist , update it if necessary according to the data read from the CSV file.

The task should run on “in-motion” hosting under the plan “Launch”…

Perl Image Caching Fix

Hi

I have a problem with images loaded via a perl script not caching in the browser. I want the images to get cached by visitors.

If you use a tool to track your bandwidth (such as ShaPlus) you will see that if you view this image: http://www.scriptlance.com/apple.jpg
and reload the page several times, it will NOT download the image again (it’s in your browser cache now).

BUT if you view it here: http://www.scriptlance.com/image_cache_test.pl
which prints the same image (see attache…

Quick Fix

Hello,

I have a freelancer site that is based on the same script as SL (but MUCH more basic).

There seems to be an issue where the footer appears above the position where it should be. It appears above the Jobs section instead of below.

I realise that this is sensitive re SL terms and advertising rival freelance sites so I will not post the url here. If you request it in the PMB I will reply with it.

I am sure it is a very quick fix.

Pdf Form To Send Fdf Info To Cgi And Then To Me By E-mail

I need help sending FDF data from a pdf form to a CGI script to me by email. ( more specific info below. )

I have a PDF form with form fields. I would like for someone to help me set up the submit button on the form to send the FDF data to my server and then to me by e-mail ( I am not sure of the exact URL requirement).

I want a web expect to build me a search script.The basic function of the script is this: http://technotrade.com/cgi/search.html

It will not crowl the web but it searches a Text database file for one or more keywords input by the user and displays all the URLs that match the Search Query.

This can also be changed to search any type of text database file.THIS is a human edited search engine.when specified it will either search for local URL site, Business directory listings or business phone number like: http://www.ixquick.com.A logo will have to be designed for the main search page.
