Advice Or Code To Remove Link In Wp Top Level Menu

This will be some quick money for a Wordpress or PHP guru …

I want a simple and easy way to remove the links from all the top level items in a Wordpress navigation menu so that a visitor can’t click it – it will just show all the child pages.

I’m using Wordpress 3.01 (and yes, I know I could use the Custom Menu option, but the theme I’m using doesn’t support it)

Frp Data Field Development

There’s a small amount of development needed on the following website: www.fashionpersonnel.co.uk.

The first update is cosmetic and requires a new header being created which includes a new navigation.

The navigation bar will feature two drop down lists on selected navigation buttons (see attached visual)and act the same way as the current site (‘Help and Advice’ www.fashionpersonnel.co.uk). When the page is active the button will display as active (red type on white).

Second update is regarding the ‘Latest Jobs’ bar on the left hand side of the website under the ‘Search Box’. The jobs need to be displayed in ‘Posted’ order (the date in which the jobs were loaded onto the DB). The ‘View More’ button show all jobs but needs to be restricted to 20 jobs (the 20 most recently added)

The third update is simple. Add the ‘REC logo’ to the bottom of the latest jobs (under the ‘View More’ link). The logo currently shows at the bottom of the ‘Homepage’.

The milestones are as follows:

1. Navigation / Header
2. ‘Latest Jobs’ order and restriction
3. REC logo Placement

I’ll be providing a PSD (for reference), Navigation buttons (already sliced and ready to insert), Visual (to see how the nav works) and the FRP Logo.
